A hover-to-expand image gallery, no custom code

I saw an expanding gallery online and wanted to see if I could build it natively in Webflow. This is the result.

What it does

Hovering an image expands it while the others make room. Size, filter and background color change together, so the motion feels smooth and connected.

How it’s built

• Each image uses its own combo class with its own background image and animation settings.
• Widths are set in percentages, so the gallery stays fluid at any screen size.
• Built on the Finsweet Client-First framework, so it drops cleanly into other projects.
