Case Study
A scroll-driven animation experiment where five frames of an image split apart, drop, and then snap back together as you scroll. The effect is unexpected and satisfying — it rewards the user for scrolling and creates a moment of delight.
Technically, I created five frames of a single image, overlaid the complete image on top in a flexbox container, then built an animation where the overlay fades away as the frames separate on scroll. When you scroll back, everything reassembles. Simple concept, tricky execution, great result.
