Feature Open

Inspired by HBO's iconic feature open sequence, I wanted to recreate that cinematic cascading tile effect entirely in Webflow. Using layered overlays with carefully choreographed move, size, and opacity animations — plus precisely staggered timing delays — I was able to nail the effect.

The animation triggers on page load, giving visitors an immediate visual impression. It's the kind of opening moment that sets the tone for an entire site experience.
